Hey, I ran into this little gem (see my signature below) on another forum that I joined. There is a free service from a site named tickerfactory.com that lets you set up when you are expecting to do something..... LIKE AN ED and have it displayed in your signature.

In my example below, although it doesn't actually show that I'll be in Puerto Vallarta on April 1st, it shows the count down...

I thought it was pretty cool and might be of some use here.
