One of the stops I will be making after I pick-up in Munich on March 13th will be Paris. I am looking for a hotel and parking recommendation for Paris. I have been there a few times but never with a car. Please share your hotel (price range ~$250 night, Eiffel Tower area) and parking recommendations.
Thank you.

Thank you. | I think most people who had Paris as their destination, dropped off their cars first and then spent 2-3 days sans car.
I went to Paris last year before going to Munich to pick up the car and we stayed at Le Meridien Montparnasse going thru priceline for 99usd a nite(weekend rate). I think there are some hotels near the Eiffel tower so check with www.biddingfortravel.com for bidding insights.

Le Tour Eiffel is a bit out of the way IMHO, you might consider getting a bit closer to all the hot spots.

I think the Latin Quarter has the best combination of character and value in Paris. It's on the left bank and not too far from La Tour Eiffel, if that's what you're wanting to be close to.

It's Paris. Stay at the Ritz. 15, Place Vendome.

Or the Muerice....better than the Ritz and across the street from the Tuileries Gardens/Louvre. Yes, both expensive. Pretty good shopping in Place Vendome though, if you're a millionaire.
