Going to be ending my ED trip in Frankurt. Need recommendations on Frankfurt Hotels. Also, how far is the dropoff in Frankfurt from the city center?

We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental in Downtown Frankfurt. Nothing to see there anyway. Drop off is about 20-25 mins away towards the airport.
You might want to stay nearer to the airport since its 10 minutes away from the drop off spot.
Watch out for Frankfurt Traffic.

We stayed in Mainz as there is not much in Frankfurt aM that was interesting to us.
The drop-off center is near by the FRA Airport, just on the otherside of the airport (check out that BIG A$$ Hanger Lufthansa build fo rthe new airbus A380 on the way).
If you must stay near by the airport after drop-off, try the Mariott Courtyard w/ free shuttle to the FRA Airport.
Bottomline, we prefer staying in Mainz, even if its 30 mins away from the airport. There are many shops and restaurants in Mainz town square (check out the Halig Gesit (aka Holy Ghost) the former church turned into a fine dining artsy restaurant. Spending the night at the Hyatt Mainz w/ a view to the Rhine River is a "must have" experince IMO
