i thought i recalled seeing a post from someone saying they had good luck with someone at foreign motors west. if so, were you able to get $xxxx over ed invoice? my uncle is seriously interested in doing ED. thanks. any other boston area dealers who will do the discount many of us know about? just in case.

I haven't had good sales experience at FMW ( their service on the other hand is pretty good) - however, I got my car at Tulley up in Nashua. They gave me 1K over invoice - which is about what everyone else is able to get...
they are a good dealer to work with

I did ED with FMW and got an OK deal. My sales guy was Bill Link. I ordered last July when demand was higher and got XXXX over ED invoice which wasn't too bad. (at the time)
I could have gotten a better deal (1.5K) from the gallery's, but I wouldn't order from them them. Nothing but bad experiences reported here. (once they have your money, they just don't care) However, I did have the quote from them before I went to FMW and I asked Bill to match. He didn't, but it was close enough for me.
One note: when you do ED, take the floor mats out of the car before drop off and put them in your suitecase. When my car got to FMW, they added the all weather floor mats to the car so now I have both the all weather that FMW added and the carpet ones it came with. :-)

My salesman is Paul McAbee and I have nothing but good things to say about him. I offered $XXXX over ED invoice and his response was "No problem." I did not try to get him below that as I was satisfied with the deal. It was the smoothest car purchase that I ever made.
