Minimum time in Germany for ED?

Question for the experts: Is there a minimum time that one must possess a car in Europe for European Delivery? For example, I saw online that one can drop-off the car in Munich. Could I pick it up on a Monday in Munich and drop it off the same day? I know it's a shame to miss out on the fun but I may be able to combine it with a business trip this way and avoid all of the personal costs.

You can pick up the car and drop it off on the same day. There is no minimum time that they require you to spend.

You could literally pickup the car at 9am and drive it straight to Harms and leave.
Spending less than 45 mins with your car...

Or less. Apparently you can arrange for Harms to pick it up and bring it to their office. You could then go straight to their office "pick up" the car by signing the necessary papers, and simultaneously drop it off by signing the other papers.

Not that this is a good plan--you're missing a large part of the point of ED. (Not to mention giving BMW a reason to discontinue the program.)

More like, "look at" the car, sign papers, go back to airport. You don't even have to get in the car.

What a wasted opportunity for a great travel and driving experience...just to save a few $.

This will be my first ED although I have "done" Europe many times.
Pickup car on a Thursday morning, drive to Harms and setup (after emailing them first) a time on Saturday afternoon to drop off the car. Then have some time Thursday afternoon, all day Friday, and half a day Saturday to scoot around. Return home Sunday.

For me it is all about the pics and I will post pics every day or on the Lufthansa flight coming back to the USA. Then the wait will begin
