So I finally get my car back today after seven weeks (not too bad). I called the dealer this morning, he tells me the car isn't there yet, so I call the trucking company and they tell me they dropped it off three days ago. I call the dealer back, ask them to look for my car which they finally realize they do in fact have. I rush down to pick it up, no gas, so they fill it up at my request, give me a key chain and off I go after an hour and a half. One block away the door open chime, light come on. I stop, open and close both doors, but light and chime stay on. Back to the dealer who takes it into the shop and does computer scan, "updates some stuff" whatever that means, and all is well. I get home and start to detail the car when I discover a small hump in the hood just behind the emblem, like a slight bend in the metal . I know I didn't do it and am surprised I hadn't noticed it before. Now I am worried that the dealer will tell me "tough ****" because I took the car, particularly since this is courtesy delivery and they have no investment in me or my car. Beewang, these are your guys, so I may ask for your help. Unfortunately Jim wasn't there when I picked up the car, so they were scrambling and passing me off to any warm body. I will call tomorrow and report the damage, see what happens. Anyhow, not a good start.
