I finally picked up my 550i last week. Previously I owned 88 325ic, 89 535i, but this is my first new BMW. I made a mistake in 2000 when I bought Lexus GS300 instead of the 530i. The GS was nice and trouble-free, but I miss the handling of a sport sedan. I test drove both the 530 and 550 last October and decided on ED for 550. Here are a few pictures of my car. The first two are in Munich. Since I have small kids, I just picked up the car and drop off. I only drove 20 miles in Munich. I don't know how long I can keep the car before my wife take it and give me back my GS. I am currently drive the family SUV. Anyway my next ED, I will love to drive and visit all the places that other EDers had post here. Here is my timeline.

11/9/2005 Confirm for Delivery on 12/19/2005
12/19/2005 Picked up car at Munich
12/19/2005 Dropped off at HARMS
12/20 - 1/10/2006 ??? Unknown Status
1/11 - Found out car on Bellona Due 1/24 at Port Heumene
2/2 - Redelivery At SF.
