I'm buying an X3 via ED with cash, but keeping it there for 90 days. Does anyone know if you HAVE to buy insurance through BMW, which is over $800 for 90 days, or if you can do your own insurance. If the latter, any recommendations about insurance while in Europe/England/Ireland?
