Drop-off predicament...
I'm supposed to be picking up my car in Munich on April 6. I'd go earlier but some work responsibilities are blocking that option. The big issue comes about when I get to the drop-off date. I originally planned to return to the USA on April 17th. Well BMW has April 14, 15, 16 and 17th as Holidays.
Does this holiday schedule hold for non-German drop-off centers too? I'd assume yes given the text of the BMW site.

I'd assume yes given the text of the BMW site. | Probably true for the rest of the drop-off centers, since the holiday in question is not German specific - Good Friday (April 14) - the day after Easter (April 17th). I'm sure you can probably work something out, filling out the paper work before the holiday and then drop-off during the holiday weekend.

I love this board.
So I guess I should speak with drop-off center in Munich about pre-filling the paperwork and leaving the car at the drop-off on the 15th or 16th to be processed on the 18th?

On the day you pick up your car, go to Harms and get all the paperwork squared away.... You can even have Harms call you a cab and arrange for it to meet you at whatever time you wish...all in advance.
No problem...worked great for me and a buddy when we dropped off the car on Easter Sunday last year.
This assumes a Munich drop-off, of course.
