My ED plans are getting complicated because of the German holidays on May 25-26. No drops (or deliveries) on those days. Zurich is closed also. I'm not sure about France. London is open, and since I have to drop it on one of those days, I may drive it there. I don't actually mind that prospect too much! I am assuming that if I got through the chunnel early enough in the morning I could easily make it to Heathrow to drop car that day. Has anyone ever done that?

Well, you could prearrange to drop off the car in Munich. Just fill out the paperwork on a day that they are open and leave a key. Contact the Munich Harms office for more details.

Kanuck,
I have driven from France to England and have gone through the euro tunnel. In addition, my ED is in March and I plan on driving to England using the euro tunnel again. Go to www.eurotunnel.com and you can buy your ticket that way. I purchased mine that way a couple of years ago and again the other day for March. The euro tunnel takes about 30 minutes, you drive onto a train in Calais, stay in the car until Folkestone at which time you just drive off and head to Heathrow. I have already e-mailed the drop-off site at Heathrow, and they responded right away.
