Two months since my ED and today saw a chance to briefly spurt up to 105 mph (which was as high as I got during my never past break-in ED). Of course there I could cruise at that speed.
Having gotten a ticket here a few weeks ago I wasn't at 105 for more than a few seconds.
I miss the autobahn.

ha. I think we were on the same wavelength today.'
I miss autobahn to the extent that I don't think there is any point in buying these machines for US roads. Its not only the speed limit, but quality of roads, and quality of drivers. Why do you drive in left lanes at 60mph

You're right. We did get the run-in past the 105 limit during ED and were able to really enjoy the Autobahn, but US roads/laws/drivers are a big letdown....
Here in Texas for the most part roads are good, but the drivers hog the left lane and many regard them as self-appointed speed police without portfolio
Our legislature did vote a "left lane for passing only" law three years ago. Supposedly carries a $50 - $200 possible fine. Considering that it would be the best improvement in road safety since the Interstate system was built it is hard to understand why there has not been (as far as I can determine) any inforcement whatsoever???
I have never heard of even a rumor of a DPS trooper actuallly stopping anyone for staying in left lane--much less ticketing anyone.
The worst long stretch of "good" highway in state is I-35 between Austin and the DFW area. Effective inforcement combined with rational speed limits would reduce congestion possibly 20-25%, reduce fatalities maybe 30-35% and road rage incidents (almost all triggered by lane blocking idiots) almost entirely on that road.

You were past break-in on your most recent ED - what was your top speed?
