I'm new to the ED process and would very much like some assistance with how best to proceed. As I understand the process, I should negotiate with dealers (via email?) to find someone with an attractive price versus the European wholesale invoice. Some specific questions I'd greatly appreciate help with: 1) What is the European wholesale invoice for an X3 base car? 2) Are the invoice prices for options (e.g. metallic paint) the same as those in the US? If not, can you suggest a source for european invoice pricing on the options? 3) What is a reasonable expectation for a good deal versus European invoice price on the car? What would a great deal be? (I'd be a cash purchase buyer) 4) Can anyone suggest some dealers in the Los Angeles or Southern California area for an attractive ED deal? 5) If I decided to purchase here in the US rather than do an ED deal, what type of pricing (versus US dealer invoice) could I expect as a very good deal?
