Planning on making my first BMW purchase this year (MY 2007 525xi or MY 2006 325xi)  and I'm interested in any recommendations on good ED dealerships in CT (or reasonably close as I live in Fairfield County). I've read through the pricing strategies and I'm looking to negotiate to $1.5k over ED invoice. Thanks, |

I purchased my car through Scott Doty at BMW of Watertown. I couldn't have had a better experience.

I did my ED in November. I tried Watertown, Bridgeport and North Haven. Both Watertown and Bridgeport did not seem very interested in negociating up from ED invoice.
North Haven initially gave me a good price, but threw in lots of junk fees, didn't respond quickly to any of my questions, and the day I was going to place my order with them, gave me the run around on a few issues. I ended up using Carbone BMW (Brian Secord) in Utica NY. Couldn't have been easier!! Did everything over the phone - and didn't even want a deposit to place the order!!! Great people to deal with.
Just an aside - I've had lots of cars, and I don't think I've bought a car in CT in at least 15 years!!! I've always done so much better going to NYC or Albany. The CT dealers just don't want to negociate up from Invoice.

When I got my car in 2001 via ED, I had good luck dealing with Barbara Monick at Darien BMW.

I've bought my last several cars, including a recent ED 330i from Joe Segreti at Wide World of Cars in Rockland County. Sure its a bit of schlep, but I think its well worth it.

I'm in the same boat...looking for a decent dealer in CT for and ED delivery. Rockland is a bit further than I'd like.
I might try heading over to Darien and seeing what they have to say.
Anybody try Greenwich BMW?
