I'm picking up mine on 2/17/06. What do you recommend is the best way for: 1) my personal transportation from munich airport to factory -just pay $75US TAXI like bmwusa.com says? 2) dropoff car in Munich Automobile Drop-Off Agency to munich airport -another $xxUS TAXI fee?
3) I fly home 2/27/06 at 10:30AM. I guess I have to arrange for dropoff on Sunday huh? Thanks in advance!

If so, tours don´t start off at the plant. You can get to the factory via the U-3 to the last stop at Olympia Zentrum. Very easy U-Bahn ride.
That notwithstanding, you can use Rolf Raffelsieper´s VIP pickup service for €35. Contact him at rolf.raffelsieper@web.de
From the drop off point, you can either have them arrange a car (the ,,new people`` at Harms in Munich also have connections with a car service) or ask Rolf to drive you back.

Are you going straight to BMW or a hotel first? The best and cheapest way to get around Munich is public transportation. We picked up our 325 in 03 and took train/bus to our hotel on Sunday. Took train to BMW on Monday. Worked out well. You might want to think about Friday dropoff. We wanted to drop off the car on Saturday but it required special arrangements and wasn't worth the hassle. Sunday will probably be out of the question. Businesses in Europe generally only work Mon through Fri without exception.

From the airport arrivat at 8:05AM CET, I plan to go straight to the BMW Delivery Center. I read about Harms Munich dropoff, but the bmwusa.com site only lists for Munich Munich Automobile Drop-Off Agency Attn.:Thomas Heumann. Is this the same people/center? I would like to make arrangments for VIP or taxi from Harms Munich to the airport.

After you get the car go to Harms Munich and do your paperwork for drop-off....you must do this in advance if you're dropping off when they are closed. Discuss a taxi appointment for your Sunday ride back to the airport with the folks at Harms. There are cheaper ways of getting to the delivery center from the airport (trains) but if you want to do it quickly and hassle free then a cab is the best way.

You have Rolf´s contact info - did you e-mail him to see if he´s available at the times you need him?
