ok im a noob to all of this i drive a sierra truck and the bimmer bug hit me.what is this about european delivery? do you get a vehicle for cheaper goign to to europe ? can i buy a bmw online form overseas and have it shipped? i live in CA which is very hard to bring vehicles in so that would be a concern. please enlighten me about all this . thanks guys

The vehicle you get via european Delivery is the same as what you get if you walk into a BMW center in Stockton. No problem bringing it in.
You can save 8% or more via European Delivery and have a lot of fun in the process.
I suggest you read a lot of posts here first, and then try to formulate a plan.

The only difference is that you pay less and get to drive it in Europe.

Did they raise the published ED savings from 7% to 8%??

I would definitely recommend ED as long as you can be patient. It could be two months from order time to pick up in Munich, then 4-6 weeks after that for final delivery to your BMW dealer! I've done it twice before and would do it again
