Not much and itīs probably more expensive. Besides, it can be a pain to drag home or cost $ to ship.

It's fun going to a BMW dealership in Germany....even if you just check out the new cars and all those great diesels. But you can save $$ by ordering OEM goodies from Circle BMW in NJ...they discount and you won't pay sales tax. WIth the strong Euro you will as JS said pay more over there. But it's worth a dealer visit just to check things out.

But when you say 'aftermarket' I guess you might mean non-BMW products and I don't really know what's available. What kind of things were you thinking about?

Im just looking for rare stuff I can't get in the states or that's much cheaper there, BMW or non bmw. Anything that can fit in my bag or that I can just throw in the trunk of the car so that it comes back to the states.

By all means...stop at the BMW dealer on Franfurter Ring its only 10 minutes from the delivery center (who will give you directions). They have a great assessories store, and..an amazing set of cars on the floor. When I was there in Dec they had both and M5 and M6 in the showroom. I have never seen a dealership this large or as comprehensive. I think it is owned by BMW.
