 Winter/snow in Europe

I am concerned about delivery of my 330i in Germany. I am taking delievery in Feb/March. Is that snow season there? My 330i will not have snow in Germany. I heard that is the least busiest time, perhaps for that reason. Has anyone driven there during this time and gotten stuck? There's no AAA in Germany!

Also, are there any hotels with indoor garages? I don't want to ruin my car there.

BTW, I didn't ask for all season tires, but I am assuming that's what comes standard on a 330i.

The real issue is the INSURANCE. If you get into an accident because of loss of traction due having summer performance tires, there's a chance you won't be covered.

That said, this is only an issue if you ordered Sport Package. The base model includes all-weather tires with an M+S (Mud and Snow) rating which meets the new German Winter Tire Law criteria.

Indoor garages? No such thing. No AAA -well that's AMERICAN Auto Assoc. No indoor plumbing either.

Haven't you ever been out of whereever it is you presently reside?

Yes but not to Germany which is where I am asking about. And I wasn't asking if there was AAA. I was acknowledging that there's no AAA there.

I found that most of the US chains Mariott, Hilton, Renessance all have indoor garages in Bavaria. In additon most of the old 3/4 stars have garages, be sure to ask. I have actually parked in some garages which were individual like you see in older homes in the US. By al means ask when you make your hotel reservations.
