ED week of May 14 - possible World Cup issues?
I am planning to do ED the week of May 14, and I noticed that the first game of the World Cup is June 9 in Munich. How early do the "festivities" start for the World Cup? Germany is playing in the first game, so I would imagine the fans might start arriving early.
I haven't decided on my itinerary yet, but I will probably be in the general area from around May 14th to May 21st-May 26th, which brings me close to 2 weeks before game time.
Any tips or suggestions to avoiding early football fanatics, or are my worries misplaced?
