My wife and I are heading up to Dingolfing to take the plant tour. We plan on arriving early, perhaps up to an 1-1.5 hours ahead, since traffic seems to be unpredictable. My question is, what is there to do up there while we wait?
- Is there a souvenir shop? - A museum? - Cafeteria? - Place to buy parts (I particularly want to get the E60 euro rear reflectors)? - Other local attractions?
Or will we be just left to practice donuts in the new car in the parking lot.
TIA,
Chris.

Not sure. We did end up having lunch at the McD's 500 meters from the plant. I'm sure you can venture more into the town itself and find some interesting things.

Just for fun, use your car's points of interest feature. Quite useful (see image below)

TIA, Chris. | There is a souvenir shop...You could also stop in Landshut on the way to Dingolfing, it has a really nice (and old) downtown with shopping and places to eat.

Last time I was there I arrived at 10:00am and went in town (Dingolfing) to grab a few local Dingolfing brews a wurst

We ate lunch in the small downtown area before taking the tour. It was a chance to mingle with the locals. There were a few factory workers eating in the restaurant while we were there as well. We browsed through some small shops and soaked up some small town German culture.
