 Paris dropoff

Can anyone provide me information about dropping your car off in Paris ? Good idea ? Does it slow down the return process ?
i'd appreciate your thoughts and feedback from anyone who has done it.

It was certainly easy. It took about 2 weeks from when I dropped off to when the car was on a ship. You drop the car at the airport so it is easy to get anywhere - there is train, bus, and of couse air access.

No complaints - the person there even stayed late waiting for us.

We returned to Paris on Nov 28. Car arrived at the dealership today, a little under 6 weeks. It was probably delayed a few days at port/VPC because of the holidays. A few good things about Paris dropoff:

1. Return is AT the airport - very easy to fly out or get into the city without an expensive cab ride.

2. Easy to find.

3. I think shipping back - at least to the East Coast, is pretty quick. The cars are trucked to Zebrugge Belgium for shipment. In my playing around on the WW lines web page, the trip from Zebrugge to New York seems to be a few days faster then from Bremerhaven.

Anyway....we had a good experience returning there and would do it again.

I am planning to drop off in Paris on March 31st Friday. I will post my experience for everyone.

I am picking up mine on March 24th and planning to drive to Denmark, Norway and back to Paris. Has anyone done this route? Appreciate your input.

Thanks.

Of course the trip from Zeebrugge is faster - the boat starts in Bremerhaven and then goes to Zeebrugge. So the trip is faster but your car is waiting for the boat to get from Bremerhaven to Zeebrugge anyway!

I also dropped off in Paris. No problems whartsoever. My west-coast delivery took about the same amount of time as most... 45 days.

The Paris dropoff personnel were very helpful and gave me a lift to the subway station on the other side of the airport with no complaints.
