And the total number of BMW European Deliveries for 2005...
was 2363.
This is a substantial increase compared to 2004, with 1999.
It would appear that Bimmerfest members represent ca. 11% of overall deliveries (at a minimum).

ED is an excellent program and IMHO the only way to buy a car! I am glad it is successful!

These programs are definitely catching on. I spoke to the manager of Volvo's program yesterday; they are seeing more customers also.
I just finished nailing down a fairly complete history of how the programs got started for one of my articles; now all I have to do is finish article no. 1 and ... well then I can do article no. 2.

That would mean an impressive average of about 10 per day for each day the facility is actually open.
I just read that total BMW Group sales for the US were about 300,000 for 2005 (that includes Mini sales, and I guess Rolls Royce - don't know if that also includes motorcycles). So ED still represents at most 1% of sales of BMW's for US. Though since US produced vehicles (X5, etc) are not available for ED, ED sales looked at as a percentage of the vehicles that are actually available for ED purchase is higher than 1%.
Anyway you look at it, the small percentage of people purchasing their vehicles as ED's are the smart ones. IMHO.
