Thats were I stayed at for 5 nights when I was there to pick up my 330ci. Overall the hotel is decent its nothing great as far as luxury but its at a great location and Pitchers the bar downstairs has some good burgers! From the airport all you do is take the S8 to MarienPlatz get off and switch to the U6 and get off at Munchner Freiheit, once you get upstairs take bus number 85 and the Holiday Inn is two stops down. To get to the delivery center all you do is hop on the U6 again and take it to Freimann. Overall I chose it more for the location rather than luxury because its near everything and the underground is so simple to use and cheap. Watch out for those taxis a short 5 minute ride can end up being about 20 euros!

TIA. | I didn't stay at the Holiday Inn so I can't comment on it but I did drive by it as I was trying to the Marriott (also in Munich City North) where I stayed. The U-Bahn is two short blocks away from the Marriott and I got it on Priceline for $55 plus taxes. It has safe parking. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com.

Pardon me for flaming...but why in the world would anybody go to Germany to stay in a Holiday Inn, drink in a bar called "Pitchers" and eat hamburgers? I can do that in Kansas City a couple of blocks away from my house.

I payed $65 a night! Funny every time I went in to garage you have to take a ticket and when you live you would have to pay and then on the way out you stick the ticket in the machine and the gate will open.I had one of those wallets with magnetic money clip on the side I only payed once since they couldn't read the card.

The reason why you want to stay at the Holiday Inn Munich North is because of THIS!!Yo!! click here!! McFly! Oppss... in anyevent... the 21 days adavnce reservation is just 60 Euros.
Fact is, the 21 days advance reservtion rate offer at the Holiday Inn Munich North is EXCELLENT and it is just a couple minutes away from the bus station that will take you on a 2 minutes bus ride to Schwabing district and U-bahn station Müncher Freiheit. more info on Scahwabing Yes !! This is where you can find the best and most authentic Bavaria Restaurant Wirtshaus zur Brez'n Cheap too (okay.. let's just say its NOT expensive).
We've stayed there in the past 5 trips. and I do like the place, especially for the price.
Oh yeah!! One last thing K.C. boy!! I know its hard for you to believe this, but the Best Western in Europe are MUCH nicer than the ones you know of in U.S., I know its the same hotel chain as the ones in U.S. but the European counterpart is like nuthing you know of from U.S.
just my 2 cents,
beewang
