Purchasing a car with ED at a far away dealership a good idea?

I was reading up on ED and I think I read that you can do ED and have it delivered to any dealer you want. So in other words, if I can't find a good deal around NY that does ED, I can check around the country and still have ED delivery to my local dealership?

Look around here use the search function. It is done everyday. U will pay a Courtesy delivery fee to ship to dealer (APPROX. $500). U can can call your local BMW first and ask what their Courtesy Delivery fee is . But DO NOT talk to sells dept. or sales manager. Talk only to Title clerk in the store she/he can usually tell u the amount and it does not effect her/his paycheck. U can tell her a story u are being transfered to the area. Also ONLY use a ED Dealer I recommend Adrian in Atlanta. He knows the process like the back of his hand.

Oh ok... So if I pay 500 extra, I might as well just give the local dealer an offer that is $500 more. To save us both the headache though.

IF your local dealer knows the ED process. That is Correct.
Please be sure the DEALER knows the process you can read the current diaster about a guys 550 with NO Auto transmission for example
But courtesy deliver is not really a headache for anyone as long as everyone involved knows their job.
