When to Purchase after BMWCCA Membership

Hello,

I have just joined the member, let's say Jan 1st. When will be the earlist time I can go put ED downpayment for a 330i?

I know there is a 1 years membership requirement for $500 rebate. But for ED, we know it is 1-2 months waiting, and so I am little lost on the timing.

I so hope I can do it in Oct this year. Just I really dont know how they (BMWCCA) calculate the timing.

Thanks!

There´s no logic to this, but the BMW CCA (which runs the program) advises that you have to have been a member for one year on the day of U.S. redelivery.

At the same time, the program requires participants to file a check request within 60 days of delivery (delivery in the Freimann delivery center technically).

So at best you might get a few days extra - maybe.

To be safe, figure a year just to be sure.

thx.

this will be my 1st bimmer. me and my wife want it to be auto, not a clutch, I am wondering if the base price for ED covers that? Or do I have to pay the extra to make it an automatic car.

Also, where can I find more details informations on those Options?

Like Comfort Access, Active Steering, and Active Cruise Control.

thx again

Automatic (aka slushbox) v. standard transmission is of course an option as the standard is standard.

You can find price lists and option lists as stickies in the forum for whatever vehicle you are ordering (3er, 5er, etc.).

Quote from BMWCCA when I emailed them about using ED and the timing of membership fpr the rebate:

"You would qualify for the rebate one full year from the date of reactivation - so be sure to take delivery stateside a year and a day after reactivating."

So, figure that 1 year + 1 day till redelivery in the USA.
