My roommate is German (from Munich) and she always gets great deals on airfare. She just booked a ticket for her mom to fly from Munich to Los Angeles roundtrip for $390 Euros. She says she always gets deals like this. Finally I asked her where and she said www.ticketfox.de Maybe this will help those looking for some good rates on airfare who are planning on doing ED. The one caveat is that the site is in German...which doesn't help me that much. But possibly if you email them they can help you out in English. Hope this helps.  |

One word of caution on the Luftansa deal. It is for the ticket price only. The 2nd ticket's taxes and fees still need to be paid. Flying from Austin to/from Frankfort, I actually found a cheaper fare on AA than the 2:1 deal on Luftansa. What did it was the taxes and fees on Luftansa were close to $300.

If you decided after Munich go to Bahamas here is what I found today
Spirit Airlines has some roundtrip specials starting at $9 each way. Only for select airports/destinations/dates, but if you can match up it is a great deal. Example: LaGuardia or Fort Lauderdale to Bahamas $9 each way + taxes/fees
