Further to my earlier post:

Day 1 also includes ad2005's delivery. More soon, maybe.

Very nice! Where are the ski pictures taken?

Davos, Jakobshorn. Many call Davos the best ski resort in the world and for good reasons.

Skype Rules!

For anyone doing ED, a hotel web connection will cost about $20. We are making good use of it with Skype and calling family in the UK + USA.

http://skype.com/

Normally for skype I use a dedicated usb mike, but it has just worked fine with the laptop's built in speakers and mike in something of a 'conference call mode' (the pin hole mike on the screen picks up very well across a hotel room).

On the subject of tips: Our hotels have been great so far. Using priceline.com they are all four star in city centers and cost from $60 to $75 (+ tax). Parking is costing about twenty euro per day though

I've just arrived in Munich, picking up my 325xit tomorrow, and was checking out your pictures when I realized you took a picture of my car waiting for me in the lot!

That is, at least I think so. I'll see if the plates match when I get there, but it's the right make, color, sports option, etc. I like the fact that it doesn't have the chrome around the windows, I wasn't sure if they did that for the new model or not. I can't wait! Btw, can you PM me the full res picture of it?

btw, I know my car was produced in November, would it have typically sat out in that lot all this while? anyone know?

The silver wagon is a 320d. Actually in the fifteen minutes between ad2005's delivery and my wife's the wagon that was in _exactly_ the spot had disappeared and as we were winding up that one was driven in. The guy who drives them in does not hang around and he was pretty close to clipping me!

Those are the first E92s I have seen in the flesh and I really like the looks. We were very close to going 325ix, but in the end the awd put us off - we live in Atlanta. We took the folding seat option in the E90 instead + I am talking to DaLan about a hitch for the small utility trailer I own (scan back a few post on my web log).

Good luck on collection... oh did you mean then black wagon outside? That looks awesome but will not be your car; it has the wrong kind of plates on for an American ED and I'd hope that our car's are not left outside before collection.

The volume of cars moving through that room appeared very high nowadays. In my first ED back in Jan 99 there was only three cars in there and zero activity other than myself. This is getting popular, no wonder a new delivery center is being constructed.
