I've been checking the lufthansa-usa.com/241BMW site for the last several day. The special listed is still the one valid till Dec 05.
Anyone has any idea on when the Luft-BMW Jan-Mar06 special is expected to be released?

I would not call it a 2-for-1 deal so much as a $50 off each deal. They really jack up the price (like 50%) on the BMW fare class, then make you pay double taxes. Compared to just buying two tickets, the difference was no more than $100.

Also, the 2 for 1 is calculated with East Coast cities as the start point. We paid 500 per person for two weeks ago from the West Coast and it was the cheapest by 2-300 hundred dollars.

It does matter where you start. I am not near an international airport and the Lufthansa deal was much better than any other - and I have to fly three legs each way. That is one of the prices of living in the middle of nowhere. The upside is wide open winding roads If you're out of a very large city you can probably beat the 2-for-1 deal.

Lufthansa taxes were way too high and i ended up getting with Air France which reach Munich 8:35 AM and depart paris 6:50 PM.

My wife and I flew using the Fly Free deal last March from NC to Munich for approx $250 round trip total for both of us. Basically taxes. What a great deal!
Ways to Save $$ -Check connecting airport taxes/fees. Some airports are cheaper than others -Fewer connections means less fees/taxes normally -I found United flights to be much cheaper than Lufthansa. Check with the travel person.
