 Italian Dropoff: Lease Miles

If I drop the car in Rome, the car will be driven to Munich, right?
This is a distance of almost 600 miles.
Are these miles deducted from my 10K/year allowance or is the lease allowance increased by 600 miles?

Let me preface this by saying the only things I know about ED is that you get to drive your car around Europe for a while and then (based on reading posts here) completely obsess over its shipment to the US, biting your nails and counting the nanoseconds until your delivery back home...

You won't get miles added on to your lease. You put them on, you're paying for them.

Edit:

sorry, totally misread your post. I doubt they would let you drop off your car and then drive it 600 miles to a shipping port. Would you want someone else driving your brand new car that much??? my guess is, that if they do ship it out of Munich, they'll put it on a truck.

Not sure what you mean by deducted or increased. The car will of course have 600 add'l miles on it from the drive.

Not sure what you mean. The OP is correct in stating that it's 600 miles from Roma to München and that this drive will add 600 miles to his car. And yes, once it gets to München, it goes by truck to Bremerhaven.

LOL I think you still mis-read the 2nd time.

The OP is asking about the Rome to Munich part. From Munich to the port is by truck.

From Rome (any Italian drop-off point) to Munich, they have a driver drive it back to Munich.

BayAreaBMW: I think you're out of luck. The additional miles are part of your lease miles.

So they let some guy just drive your car from Rome back to Munich so they can put it on a truck THERE???? Where the hell do I apply for THAT job?
