 Leaving tomorrow...last minute questions/tips

So first off thank you all for all the help in my quest to make it a great ED trip. You have to love the internet...No way I would have known about any of this stuff without it and this board.

So my flight is tomorrow morning, and even though I have been on this board religiously since I found out about ED, you always forget some little things or have some questions. If anyone has a last second tip/suggestion for me, tell me now!

Some final questions I have:

- After reading about exchange rates, is my best bet still to withdraw from an ATM? Is there one at the Munich Airport (and they take american ATM cards I assume)?
- There is heating in the hotel rooms right? (Marriot and Renaissance)
- Quick cheap recommendation for a hotel near the airport?
- Best tasting/most unique beer to order?
- How to handle a long flight such as this? (I hate flying more than anything, huge phobia)

Again, thanks to all, pics will come the same day as I take delivery....................

Wake up very early the day of your flight. Try to get 50% onto the central european time zone. You will be more sleep when you get on the plane and hopefully you will sleep during the flight.

Bring movies for your computer - also noise cancelling headset.

Drink water - ignore the offers for cocktails.

1. Yes, there is one near the Baggage Carousel on Terminal 2 assuming you are arriving on Terminal 2 via Lufthansa.
2. No heat, you have to build your own fire.
3. Cheap Hotel near airport would be the Marriott Airport Hotel via priceline. YMMV.
4. Budweiser.
5. I pop an Ambien right after the first meal and I'm out till 1 hour before landing.

what a genius idea...i like that waking up early business. also, do planes now have outlets to plug in your laptop? otherwise that will not work for me.
