I have a ED on Feb 27, 2006....I got my production number from my CA on Monday, December 05, 2005...it was actually a FW letter from BMW ED dept....
-My question is the following.....If I wanted to is it to late to add the iDrive Navi to the order....?
"Your European Delivery Reservation Has Been Accepted
The production number shown below has been transferred into your center’s allocation. This vehicle will be held in Munich for delivery to Lyudmila Cooper pending receipt of the appropriate paperwork.
Please confirm that the specifications shown on DCS match your customer’s request. If they do not, please make the appropriate changes. If your customer wishes to change their delivery date, please notify European Delivery immediately.
When this order reaches status 150, the signed and notarized European Delivery purchase order should be sent to the European Delivery Department at the address noted on the top of the purchase order form. A clear copy of the customer’s passport or photo driver’s license must accompany the purchase order. U.S. Customs now requires this information in order for the cars to enter the United States.
If your customer must cancel this order, please notify the European Delivery Department immediately. You will be able to modify this order, however, it cannot be transferred out of your inventory."

When I call the 800 number it says....that "the car is scheduled for production with no confirm production date yet"....spoke to the rep at the number and he said that the order was accepted on Nov. 29 and that I need to contact my CA for further info...if it can or can not be done.....
In any case I would like to know before I go bothering him....Can someone let me know if this can still be done or is it truly to late?

Yes, you can do it. But today would be better than tomorrow.

087 - Production week assigned
097 - Order sent to BMW AG
111 - Order accepted at BMW AG
112 - Order scheduled for production (last opportunity to make changes)
150 - Production started
151 - Body shop started
152 - Paint shop started
153 - Assembly started
155 - Production completed
160 - Released to distribution
180 - Waiting for export dispatch
193 - Arrived at port of exit
194 - Selected for shipment
195 - Shipped from port of exit
196 - Shipment arrival - ETA

I guess you will be easily able to add this. I added comfort access to my order 45 days before my pickup date. Though my dealer has to do some paper work with BMW
