Well, I think we have the "Me530 Customs hold-up Syndrome." I just checked with my CA about the disposition of our car.

"Oh Monica Blu, where are you? Oh, how I'd love to see your beautiful Angel Eyes. Oh, where are you Monica Blu?"

It will be three weeks tomorrow that our car arrived in the port in New York Harbor. John, our CA, checked and said that it had not been released from customs as yet. I began checking old posts and saw that Me530's car had been held up in customs for that long (I had remembered that the car's delivery had been delayed, but couldn't remember why.) Others on the same ship as our's (Jingu Maru) have been redelivered from one to two weeks ago. I'm just wondering what the hold-up could be. Does anyone have any inside information about how customs goes about their business? Do they just slide some vehicles through, and then randomly select vehicles to check? What is the check like if yours is one of the "lucky" ones? I'd just like to know. In the meantime there's plenty of time now to just cry in my bier.
