 Insurnace in Czech Republic

My dealer here said that the insurance provided with the ED plan would not cover my car if I drove to Prague. That surprised me since the Czeck Republic is now part of the EU. Did any of you hear about this or experience problems? I heard theft is an issue but we plan to park in a secured garage and take public transport in Prague.

Czech Republic is not excluded.

Time for a new dealer?

As Jonathan states time for new dealer as they are wrong.

Maybe he's confusing the Road Side Assistance. Insurance is covered in Prague, but there is no Road Side Assistance.

What car have you ordered?

I ordered a 530 xi for delivery on Dec 23, 2005. I may be leasing the car. Should that effect the insurance in Czech Republic?

Thanks for your input.
