My CA just sent me the following Price list for the King Hotel in Munich...looks like there is a 4 and a 3 star version....whats the true diff.? has anyone been there? How is it....I am picking up my car in Feb of '06 and want to know if I should book here...

Do the Marriott on Priceline and You will be OK. $65-75 range.

Thank You. | Neither in a great location. People doing euro. delivery who have stayed there have liked it, but there are so many possibilities that I would not limit myself to this. Shop around, look at priceline (look at biddingfortravel.com to see what hotels people are getting), and make an educated choice after all that.

Thank You. | I would not stay there again. The hotel is fine but the location could be better and their breakfast was pretty bad. I highly recommend the Innside Premium Hotels Munchen Parkstadt Schwabing. It's across the freeway from the Marriott and right off the A9. It's very close to the ED center. It's also out of the main part of the city so you don't have to deal with traffic at rush hour. The subways are a short walk away and a breeze to use. Their restaurant for dinner is also A+. The Innside is a brand new hotel and everything is new and the rooms are very comfortable. The cost was not much more than Kings. However, to answer your question, I'm not sure what the difference was but our experience at the 4 star property was definately not 4 stars in my book so I can guess what the 3 star property must be. Hope that helps.

Whatever you do, stay away from the two Sheratons in Arabella area.
