I have to ask - how to reverse those Munchen escalators?
This may be a dumb question, but this has frustrated me way too many times.
How does one get the escalators (say, at the u-bahn stations) to reverse? I'll find one parked, and I'll be at the bottom of it. When I walk up to it, it will start, but in the wrong direction. I didn't find buttons anywhere (except for a red handle to e-stop it). I usually just take the stairs if the escalator direction doesn't agree with me.

If it's moving already, it's not going to reverse (right away). Some are not reversible.
