For my 2006 E90 330i. Taking European Delivery on the 15th of December, dropping off on the 19th of December. I hope everything goes well... By the way goddamn taxes on the car...$3500!!!  |

Congrats, you won't regret the trip.
Yep I paid about the same amt. in sales tax. I pay 8.5%.
You should make sure that wherever it is that you're planning to drop-off at that they are open then since it's so close to Xmas.

Dropping off at the Munich location, dealer said it was fine, so I assume I am good to go.

They say "fine" just to get you off the phone, so they can go back to working on their current deal. How the heck would the dealer know what the holiday schedule is for Harms in Munich.
E-mail the Munich drop-off. The e-mail is at bmwusa.com/european delivery and it's here somewhere too.
I'd would do it just to be safe and it's a quick 30 sec. e-mail.

As Calif says, don't leave it to the dealer to say everything is fine. A fellow member had his ED schedule changed a bit when they found that the delivery center was closed on that day even though the dealer and BMW did not say anything until last minute.
Email the dropoff center to confirm.
Also congrads on your ED purchase. You'll enjoy the experience. I did.

Everything should be good to go though, I checked bmwusa's site and Dec 19 was not one of the holiday/closure dates as indicated (I think they start on the 23rd or something for xmas and such). Anyway, I'm excited.
