BTW, does anybody know if VPC will upgrade the software in the software campaign? The dealership said it won't get updated for ED cars...only new cars?
Reposting this from another thread where we're all guessing since we haven't received our cars yet.
Does anyone know the answer? I had zero problems with iDrive in Europe (as opposed to what I've read on the E63 sub-forum) and would be a lot happier if no software chnages were applied to my 645cic (I think).

The answer is "maybe". If there is a bulletin out (aka a fix for a known problem). If there isn't, they won't update your software for the sake of you have the latest software version.
