Hallo everyone!

Long driving day here. Waved goodbye to Ashish as he headed to Switzerland; then Rich and Jill came over for breakfast. Spoke briefly with MARCUS330 - not sure what happened to him as he was heading our way...

In tandem, we headed to the Autobahn and enjoyed the drive and scenery. Beautiful day, temperatures hitting 13°C and sunny although it was much cooler in higher altitudes (5.5°).

I let the navigation system guide me to Berchtesgaden (well, I knew most of the way but I never would've found the InterContinental way up high). Rich and Jill followed and then headed to a Gasthaus.

The InterContinental Resort is incredible. Can't wait to see the views in the morning. I think I'll just move in.

We crossed national borders six times today.

Nice!!! Are you staying at Holiday Inn Schwabing? I thought I recognize that lobby

First night - I was at the Holiday Inn on the Leopoldstraße.

2-5 Night - the (incredible) InterContinental Hotel and Resort in Berchtesgaden.
