Like say, leave Thursday or Friday night and come back Monday or Tuesday? Just curious.

Just curious. | I think some have left for Munich one day, picked up their car the next, and just turned it right in and hopped a flight back. Of course that doesn't allow one to really experience what ED can really be. You can't pick up a car from the delivery center on a weekend, so you would need to be there no later than Friday. Do a search through the forum and you will find others who have done what you are asking. But I would also encourage you to read through some of the posts of those who have found a way to stay a few more days. It is without a doubt worth it!!!

It is without a doubt worth it!!! | I know it's an experience but having 3 kids, it might not be feasible to stay long unless it was during summer vacation. I was thinking of leaving the kids with my dad, LOL, and go get the car and have a lil break for me and the wife

Pick an American Monday holiday. Go Thursday night before. Pickup car on Friday Have a nice weekend drop car off at one of the droppoff points and if your body will let you can be at work Tuesday morning in person.  NOT for me but very doable.

I'd fly out on a Wed afternoon and pick up the car on a thursday. Fridays are usually busy days at the ED center. The head over to EH Harms and arrange weekend dropoff. Then fly out Sunday back to the States or Monday.
