Oh my this little beauty has my heart - pure perfection - then the dream ends this morning after a perfect 4-5 days, a couple days before dropoff at Harms in Munich. My wife noticed this morning when we left our hotel near Austrian border that someone had swiped my bumper. No metal damage but the plastic took a hit - very significant. I know this is covered but where does this get handled? After redelivery in US or here in Germany? It will get logged at Harms since they aren't going to want to pay for it. But what do you think, does this need to be reported independent of the Harms review upon dropoff?
BTW - this Barrique Red is far better than I ever imagined. It really is cinnamon brown - especially in full sun. Could not be better - esp. with theTerra leather.
cheers, all

My understanding is that if you report to Harms, then they will not be liable for that damage. Reporting to Harms does not mean they'll fix it. You will have to seek coverage and compensation from Gerling Insurance. The VDC may see the damage and repair it when it arrives here. If the VDC doesn't repair the damage, you should contact your dealer and/or Gerling Insurance to file a claim.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is my understanding.
