Oy mates. I'm in heathrow awaiting connection on Lufthansa to MUC. I'm going nuts, but so far it's been good. There's TMobile here to satisfy your wifi needs, and the change from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 was about 1 hours walk. I took JSpira's advice and took my baggage and walked out the door.
I was happy in standby business class on the 777 from SFO. It wasn't very full. My buddy had to sit in Coach, and i felt sorry for him. I offered to let him sit in my seat, but he wouldn't have any of it. The guy had pressure from his gf to return early, so he needed a guarantee seat home. The poor guy couldn't fly standby.
Well much thanks to everyone. I'm going to try and meet Silent129 Friday morning. I'm not sure how much bier I'll have by the night tho.

LHR is not really my favorite airport. Sounds like no major problems for you w/ LHR. Take pictures for us when u get to delivery center.
I'll bet when you get on the autobahn you're probably going to want to see what the car can do. Don't forget 4,500rpm and 100mph+

The plane arrived 1 hour early, but there was a gaggle of arrivals at 6:30. I have to find out who gets to go on the fast track line through passport control. The other lines weren't too bad.
Terminal2 is much more relaxed calm and quieter. I wonder how it'll compare to MUC. I'm excited about haxnbauer and haufbrauhaus.

Muc airport is clean, efficient and decent food. It's pretty good for an airport.
Access to the baggage claim is not too far away from where you enter. Also taxis are lined up and ready for you.
It took about 20 minutes from getting out of the plane to baggage claim to check my passport, etc.

Its way way nicer than FRA IMHO. Of course, right now almost anything is nicer than my home airport ORD.

| Fasttrack is for premium passengers (i.e. first and business) and those who have extra Fasttrack coupons just in case  (one never knows when one will find oneself in the back, without the grey poupon)
Come to think of it, for outbound, may be just what class your ticket shows.
