My 2nd bimmer
This is my first post. Just ordered a titanium gray metallic 530 xiT. Dealer (Manhattan BMW) says it will take 8-10 weeks to get to me here in Manhattan. Does it really take that long? I love my 530 but can't wait...

Hi, this is the Euro Delivery forum (section) of Bimmerfest, so your post is in a bit of the wrong area. But then again, we are delivery experts here! 
Yes, that sounds pretty reasonable. Takes 4 - 6 weeks for a car to get to the East Coast and then to your dealer. So, 4 - 6 weeks for the order and build process sounds about right. You can get into allocations and all, but your dealer probably knows when their allocation is for that car and thus gave you the reasonably accurate time frame.
