 VPC hours

OK, so what hours is the VPC operation open? I know it's right near the port in NJ. Trying to gauge how much time this will take as my car was unloaded from the ship on Saturday 10/29 in the morning.

the wait is killing me too dude. mines is expected to dock on thursday and i bought it from dealership near new jersey port of entry. if it helps u, i saw someone post about them getting their cars released from the vpc and picked up at dealership after 2 days. that's was the quickest i could find. hopefully that will happen to me since my dealership is only 1 hour away from the port. i would warn u u may have to wait until 20 days after it has been release to vpc according to the letter i got from bmw.

They don't work weekends, and from what I know they're out by 5pm during the week (if not a little earlier).

The car should probably be shipped from the VPC by the middle of the week if there are no hold ups.

Mine arrived in New Jersey last sunday (10/23) and I do not have it yet. My dealer (located about 20 miles from the port) has indicated an ETA of 11/1. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Caveatesq, My car arrived on 10/23 also! We must have been on the same ship (Jingu Maru). Question: How was your dealer able to indicate an ETA of 11/1/05? Was your dealer able to confirm that your car has reached the VPC or is your dealer just guessing on the ETA? If your dealer has confirmed that you car is already at the VPC, then that's good news for me as well (I was under the impression that customs will hold it up 5+ days). That'll give me hope that I might get my car before the end of the week.

Caveatesq is in NJ. You're in Atlanta which gets their cars processed through Charleston, so probably different boat and different VPC schedule.
