Need help on attaching cell phone to cradle inside 7 series
No one told me how to attach the cell phone to the cradle inside the center console of my new 7. The book shows pictures of the plate that appears to affix to the plastic mount but there's no plate to be found. The Motorola blue tooth phone I bought works fine. (If Jspira is reading this, thanks Jon for your great advice on T-Mobile.) I'm using roaming and it's crystal clear with an almost immediate connection. Calling cards are better, though not as convenient as calling on the fly. The internet cafes are the way to go, though and easily found. So, I'll be checking back this evening for help with the cell phone hookup. Also, does it charge the phone like the '03's? | | Reply » Need help on attaching cell phone to cradle inside 7 series | Quote: No one told me how to attach the cell phone to the cradle inside the center console of my new 7. Glad the phone is working.
Did you buy the cradle for your phone? Some require several pieces including trim. I know this is a basic question, but just checking.

I am sure that you are aware that T-mobile is owned by Deutche phone and the roaming service is absoultely perfect. When I call home it's a matter of seconds before someone picks up and reception is crystal clear.

Each mobile has a different "footprint" so this allows the system to accept different mobiles (check with your dealer to find out which mobiles they make cradles for).
Re T-Mobile, yes. Deutsche Telekom bought Voicestream (which had previously purchased Omnipoint) a few years back.
I'm not sure how happy DT is with their investment though; there is constant talk that they might put T-Mobile USA on the block.
