What Can I Expect to Pay for a New 330Cic?

In my quest for a new car, I am seriously considering a new 330Cic. I do NOT want to wait for the "new" styling as I do not care for the changes made in this thing. I've been warned that BMW dealers don't really deal much off of MSRP, so admitting my inexperience with negotiating this brand, I am looking for advice / opinions from all of you on the best price I might expect.

The MSRP of my choice is about $51,880. According to Edmunds, the invoice is $47,510, and their report of "what others are paying" is $51,282 - that's only about $600 off of MSRP, or $4,800 OVER invoice! Is this what I can expect?

I live in the Cleveland area and therefore am hoping the winter weather might help with an advantage in pricing for a convertible... maybe not like a Corvette would in January, but - - - maybe??

Thanks for your input!

I recently purchased a new 2005 330Ci. I went to four different dealerships trying to get a deal on one. This was on a custom order as well. I paid $1200 over invoice. If they have one in stock and would guess you could get it for $1000 over invoice. It depends on if the dealer is wanting to get rid of an 05.

A few months ago I would say you could get a better deal. Now we are headed into spring/summer which is when cabrios sell better.

However, I think you should be able to get a better deal.
