Plus, I would just say with a glint in my eye, no, I'm going to drive on the autobahn... that ususally gets the message across.
Then again, why I'm even replying to this non-issue, shows my lack of determination.

You should tell them "No, I'm going all the way to Germany to see the car. The buying is still done here. I have to see the car to buy it." That will keep them thinking.

Anyone feel my pain....lol | No, not at all  My feeling is that BMW has a wonderful program with ED and every time I 'have to' explain it to someone, the reaction I get is one of shared excitement. I don't mind at all being a spokesperson for, or even somewhat of an 'evangelist' for the ED program  And of course, it's SO much more than "going all the way to Germany just to buy a car."

Yeah people get confused as to whether your car is going to only read kilometers, if you need to pick it up at the port yourself, if you are bringing $40,000 to Germany to buy it...
Doesn't matter I got a sweet car for the lowest possible price and the vacation of a lifetime.
