Hello To All.
I am aboout ready to leave a deposit for a new BMW 325i ED.
My Dealer made the comment that I need to Pay a $200 MACO Fee?
Is that true?
I thought that it was only for US Delivery cars.
When I told him that the MACO fee is only for US delivery cars he said, well your car will be re-delivered here in the states.
I had no come back for this one...
Please let me know If I have to pay this fee or Not by doing ED?
are there any links to support your answer if I do not have to pay... Please let me know ASAP, as I want to do this right away.
Thank you All.

Tell him you'll sell him the Brooklyn Bridge.

What dealer was it? Life Quality BMW in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.....
If it was not for the MACO fee the deal is pretty good ...$XXXX over ED Invoice....Open Road BMW said they can do it for $XXXX over ED Invoice.....I'd rather get the car in Brooklyn...sice I live here.....Plus the Sales Person seems to be very nice to talk to......
So, Just to confirm there should not be a MACO or any Adv. Add ons if I am getting a ED car, even if it is getting re-delivery because that is just part of the ED process....
correct?
Thanks again.

Thanks again. | \Why do you fee obligated to buy locally? It will no affect the way your car is serviced. I bought my car from a dealer 100 miles away because he gave me a better deal. Do a search on MACO and you will find that people have even contacted BMWNA regarding this issue. It is not required on ED. Please note that MACO charges will appear on the BMWNA sourced invoice on US delivery cars and it is not an add on charge like paint sealant, etc, bogus, cr*p that the dealer will try to sell you.
