Anyone done this?
Aren't the X5's built in SC? I have a relative that insists they are built in Germany and wants to do an ED on one - anyone?

They are built in SC and not in Germany. I heard if you call them up they'll let you do a factory tour. I missed the one in germany during my ED so I was planning to do one in SC whenever I get to visit.

But you can do Performance Center Delivery near the Spartanburg plant. You get to drive one of BMW's X5's on their course and also get a plant tour (and a fee night at the local Marriott). It's highly recommended. Do a search for Performance Center Delivery or PCD.
