When is time to pay for ED, do we pay our Dealer or the check is payable to BMWNA???
Reason I ask is cuz my Lender (Wells Fargo) only allow check to be pay to a Dealer and not a Manufacture

Dealer.

My check was made out to Baron BMW......

As others have mentioned, paid to dealer. I paid a bit less than 30 days before p/u. Check was cashed 21 days before p/u.

It is illegal in many states for car manufacturers to sell directly to the public. Here in Texas GM try to open a car store where you could order you car online directly from GM, nothing would be kept in stock. That was shut down by authorities real fast.

Yep. I think it's actually every state. The dealers are a pretty strong lobby. Although at one point presumably the manufacturers had an interest in teh rule too--since they actually do benefit from letting customers see the product.
