 Thanksgiving Delivery?



I just got my production number for my first BMW 325i! I'm picking it up on Nov 24.

We're only there for 4 days and I was considering the Romantic Road and Castle Road before dropping off in Frankfurt. Does that sound like a reasonable drive for that time of the year? Are these mountain roads?

Does anyone have info on what the weather might be like and whether I will have to deal with snow. We Seattlelites don't know how to drive in the snow (or rain for that matter ).

Are there any navigation DVDs for Europe that I can borrow/rent for that time?

Finally, are there any other bimmerfesters picking up on 11/24?

The romantic road isn't mountainous and should be fine that time of year. As for NAV DVD's, check out this thread:

Would highly recommend you keep your plans flexible. Snow is not LIKELY at that time, but I remember at least flurries on what was Thanksgiving Day in the states several times.

Check the weather both at http://de.weather.com/weather/local/GMXX1002 and when you arrive on television and make your plans accordingly.

I do!!! Its gonna be snowing and dark and cloudy. With a bit of rain.... well... actually .. ALOT
