You join - go to http://www.bmwcca.org - use my membership number 36024 as referrer (no commission but they keep track of referrals.
I believe that there are over 60,000 members in the U.S.
As a member, you get a free subscription to the Roundel, arguably the best BMW mag out there (ok, I write for it so I'm biased) but it is of a quality you'd never expect from a club - a real magazine.
You get to participate in Membership Rewards, which depending on the car gives you a rebate of $500 to $1500.
I'm a member for a variety of reasons, but you can't argue with the arithmetic of paying $35 a year and getting a lot more back for each new car (CPO also btw).

It is the BMW Car Club of America with chapters in major cities. BMW rewards your membership with rebates when you purchase a car, ED included, when it is purchased when you have been a member for a least 12 months. Best investment ever. $35=$500 rebate on the 3 series plus you get 1 year subscription of Roundel. For more info check here.

Yup.. those $500 will be my motive to get a new bimmer in about a year from now
